Kimberly Casey with Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager to join an established organization in the Albany, OR area.

Key Responsibilities

As the AR Manager, you will oversee all accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, billing, and collections. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Managing all aspects of the AR process, including billing, invoicing, collections, cash applications, and reconciliations.
  • Supervising and mentoring the AR team to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Monitoring customer accounts and ensuring timely follow-ups on outstanding invoices to improve collections efforts.
  • Implementing and maintaining effective policies, procedures, and controls for AR operations to support compliance and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with the finance and accounting teams on month-end close processes, forecasting, and reporting AR performance.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing innovative solutions for AR system optimization.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will bring the following skills and abilities to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of accounts receivable experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proficiency in AR management software and ERP systems (experience with SAP, NetSuite, or similar is a plus).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coach and motivate teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities, with strong attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of AR functions, policies, and best practices.
