We are a small law firm that is searching for an Associate Attorney with at least one year of experience to join our team. Candidates should have an interest in handling complex commercial and business litigation matters. The associate will assist on litigation and general matters and work directly with the partners. Successful candidate will receive practical experience and the opportunity to grow professionally with the firm.
Skills: Excellent communications and interpersonal skills Strong work ethic, ability to self-manage, and work collaboratively as a team Strategic thinker who can prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines Attention to detail with strong proofreading skills Proficiency working with legal office technology and billing software Trial experience is preferred, but not required Responsibilities: Conduct legal research to support case preparation Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery responses and requests, correspondence, and other legal documents Communicate and provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various business-related matters Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, depositions, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
