We are seeking an *Attorney* who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping property managers resolve matters efficiently and professionally.

*Key ResponsibilitiesCourt Representation*
* Represent property management clients in *unlawful detainer trials, motions, garnishments, and post-judgment actions*.
* Handle daily court dockets with professionalism, preparedness, and strong courtroom presence.
* Provide real-time updates to clients and internal teams after each hearing.
*Evictions & Pre-Litigation*
* Review notices, filings, and case documentation for accuracy and compliance with Virginia statutes.
* Approve and oversee filings generated through *Senex Powered*.
* Identify defects, delays, or client-side issues and collaborate with operations to correct them quickly.
*Client Communication & Support*
* Provide *legal Q&A* (client calls, emails, compliance questions).
* Explain processes, timelines, and risks clearly while maintaining a friendly, solutions-oriented tone.
* Participate in client trainings, webinars, and onboarding meetings.
*Internal Collaboration*
* Work closely with the operations, technology, and collections teams to ensure cases move smoothly 'from notice to writ to recovery.'
* Report risks, trends, or recurring client errors so the team can address them proactively.

*Qualifications*
* J.D. from an accredited law school.
* Active license in *VA * (or willingness to become licensed and or in the process).
* 15 years of experience preferred; eviction or collections experience is a plus but not required.
* Courtroom experience strongly preferred.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with efficiency and attention to detail.
* Tech-comfortable and willing to work within Senex Powered and other internal systems.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
