Job Description

Overview Dash Courier & Logistics is looking for Independent Contract Couriers to use their late model vehicle (Car, SUV, Minivan, Small Cargo Van, Regular Cargo Van, or Sprinter Van) to provide on-demand, same-day rush deliveries for major medical facilities and other industries. Most work is on-demand; occasional scheduled or routed work may be available when primary on-demand customers desire it. Dash Courier & Logistics operates 24/7/365 and is onboarding drivers for all shifts, with a preference for drivers with open availability. Having consistent availability (8+ hours/day) and strong attention to detail helps drivers succeed. Client-specific instructions and compliance to meet customer requirements will be provided. Pay range figures listed are not a guarantee of earnings and may vary based on the number of jobs completed. Responsibilities Accept and complete on-demand deliveries in a timely manner while following client-specific instructions and compliance requirements. Utilize your own vehicle to perform courier tasks as an Independent Contractor. Maintain professional appearance and attitude; ensure accuracy in delivery and documentation when required. Qualifications and Requirements Valid Driver's License (Required) Social Security Card or Proof of Citizenship (Required) Current up-to-date Vehicle Registration for the vehicle you will drive (Required) Current Vehicle Insurance Declaration Page showing minimum auto policy liability limits of $100K/$300K/$50K per accident (Required) Smartphone with GPS capability (Required) Good MVR and ability to pass a background check performed by a third party (Required) Experience in same-day, local, and long-distance delivery (Preferred) Must be 21 years of age to qualify Must be able to pass a background check with no felonies or DUIs in the past 7 years Vehicle and Availability Vehicle types accepted: Car, SUV, Minivan, Small Cargo Van, Regular Cargo Van, Sprinter Van Hours: All hours (24/7/365); open availability preferred (8+ hours/day) Compensation and Job Type Job Type: Independent Contractor Expected hours: 10-40 hours per week (varies by capacity and demand) Pay: $42,663.00 - $51,141.00 per year (note: not a guaranteed figure) Benefits and Schedule Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule options include: Day shift, Evening shift, Overnight shift; Monday-Friday; Weekends COVID-19 Considerations Masks, hand sanitizer, and gloves will be provided.
