Job Description
We are looking for a person to assist our clients in clearing merchandise through US Customs. This involves reviewing and data entry of various import related documents to ensure all information is provided as required by US Customs and other government agencies. Maintaining and keeping documentation in compliance with all record keeping requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
Oral and written communication skills needed as there is interaction with carrier, clients and government officials via phone and email.
Ability to work closely with other internal staff, carriers, and customers to deliver a high level of service. Requires organizational skills, inter-personal skills, problem solving.
HS Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 6 months work experience preferred. Data entry/keyboard experience required. Familiar with MS Office, G-Mail, office equipment (phone, fax, photocopier, printer, scanner).
This position is would be either days, or evenings Monday thru Friday (subject to change based upon work demand). Weekends on-call rotations with staff members.
