This Dispensary Lead position is located at the Be. Cannabis Store in Blue Island, Illinois .

Job Summary:

The Dispensary Lead assists in overseeing the daily operations and transactions of the dispensary. The Lead reports directly to the Dispensary Manager. The Lead acts as leader on the sales floor and is also responsible for directly supporting the sales staff, executing the companys goals, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the department's main immediate point of contact for team.
  • Ensure dispensary team stays on track.
  • Update Assistant Manager or Manager with any issues that need immediate attention.
  • Ensure team is following all standard operating procedures and company policies.
  • Direct any/all personnel issues or concerns directlyto the Assistant Manager.
  • Ensure team is remaining professional with all customers, co-workers, and members of the management team.
  • Ensure the dispensary's compliance with security, inventory and local and state regulations.
  • Manage and inspire staff to deliver the highest level of customer service.
  • Ensure the safety and satisfaction of every customer and employee.
  • Communicate with management on a regular basis to ensure the dispensary's standards of excellence are upheld.
  • Ensure employees follow company protocols.
  • Train new team members and coach existing team members.
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment for staff and customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
  • Practical and pro-active thinking.
  • Attention to detail, organized and patient.
  • Excellent at multitasking.
  • In depth knowledge of cannabis products.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents relating to dispensary performance, general business periodicals, professional journals, safety, security and technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations with staff and customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure without losing composure.
  • Friendly, warm personality.
HOURLY PAY RATE: $22.00 per hour
FULL-TIME POSITION, eligible for company benefits
