The Role As a Flooring Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for developing and growing commercial flooring sales across the Phoenix market, with the opportunity to expand into additional product lines and geographies over time. You’ll focus on fast-turnaround clients and relationship-led sales, leveraging your existing book of business to drive revenue from day one. Success in this role looks like consistently exceeding sales targets, deepening client relationships, and becoming a trusted partner across a range of commercial interior solutions.
Responsibilities
Drive sales of commercial flooring solutions to contractors, developers, and end clients across the Phoenix market
Leverage and grow an existing book of business, with a focus on building long-term client partnerships
Attend industry events, networking functions, and client meetings to build visibility and pipeline (approx. 80% field-based)
Collaborate closely with internal teams and leadership to support client delivery and identify upselling opportunities
Expand product sales into additional areas such as doors, case and base, and countertops
Monitor market activity and identify new business development opportunities within and beyond Arizona
Represent the brand with professionalism and a customer-first approach
Requirements
Proven experience in commercial flooring sales
Strong industry relationships and an existing book of business (ideally $2M+ in backlog, minimum $500K)
Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and close high-value deals
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong self-motivation and commercial instincts
Comfortable working primarily in the field and independently managing a client portfolio
Familiarity with multi-family or commercial construction markets preferred
Salary $80,000–$100,000 base (flexible based on experience)
Target total compensation: $150K+ with commission
Location Field-based role covering the Phoenix market; open to candidates located anywhere in Arizona
Office presence is optional but available in central Phoenix
