Job Description

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a reliable and motivated HVAC Maintenance Apprentice to join our team!

This is a part-time position!

In this entry-level role, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians to maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems that are essential to the safety and comfort of our patients, staff, and visitors. This is a great opportunity for individuals pursuing a career in the HVAC field, particularly in a healthcare environment where attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential.

 

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Strong interest in HVAC systems and mechanical maintenance.

  • Good communication skills and a customer service mindset.

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or with a team.

  • Willingness to work in sensitive environments (e.g., patient rooms, sterile areas) with discretion and professionalism.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.

  • Basic knowledge of HVAC tools and equipment.
  • Enrollment in or recent completion of an HVAC trade or technical school program is preferred.
