Job Duties
Manage and coordinate all discovery processes for litigation and regulatory actions
Utilize effective project management tools and methods to ensure adherence to discovery deadlines
Oversee Holds Management processes and serve as system administrator for related tools
Coordinate with internal and external counsel for electronic discovery, document discovery, depositions, and other investigatory activities
Collaborate with Legal Administration, IT, and Procurement to select, design, implement, and coordinate electronic discovery systems and vendors
Ensure effective utilization of discovery tools and vendors while maintaining cost control
Create, update, and maintain training resources including online modules, manuals, presentations, quick reference guides, and live training sessions
Monitor new trends, legal developments, and changes in litigation discovery to ensure compliance and the use of best practices
Partner closely with the Litigation team, outside counsel, and the Records & Information Management (RIM) team for document productions
Identify and collect performance metrics; track progress using a balanced scorecard and include external benchmarks where applicable
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Typically requires 10 years of related experience, or 14 years of direct litigation experience
