Job Description Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC)
Location: Remote
Setting: Medical-Legal
Status: 1099 contractor
Term: 12 months
Shift: Full and part-time schedules are available- Monday-Friday 8:00AM-6:00PM
Compensation: $70-75/visit
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring medical-legal mental health therapists (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC) licensed in California. Therapists will conduct virtual visits to treat personal injury cases. This position will also establish therapeutic techniques and coping mechanisms to improve health and outcomes.

Qualifications of a Medical-Legal Therapist:
• Active CA licensure:
oLicensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
oLicensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
oLicensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• 5+ years mental health experience (personal injury/workers' comp experience bonus)
• 3+ years post-licensure clinical experience
• Unrestricted, good standing and current CA licensure
• Education from an accredited psychology institution
• EMR proficient
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Telehealth experience
Duties/Responsibilities of a Medical-Legal Therapist:
• Conduct psychotherapy sessions for patients with personal injury cases.
• Assess and document patient history, injury-related symptoms, treatment progress, and clinical impressions in the EMR system.
• Establish individualized therapeutic treatment plans using appropriate interventions and coping strategies.
• Provide culturally sensitive, compassionate, and patient-centered care to diverse populations.
• Collaborate with medical-legal teams as needed to support patient outcomes related to personal injury claims.
