Job Title: Safety Coordinator

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Safety Coordinator to support site safety operations and help maintain a culture of safety excellence across our organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction or data center environments and a strong commitment to ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations. This role plays a key part in training employees, conducting inspections, supporting incident investigations, and driving continuous improvement in safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Support compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, identify hazards, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and delivering safety training and toolbox talks to promote awareness and best practices.
• Investigate and document incidents and near misses, supporting root-cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate safety records, including training logs, inspection reports, and incident summaries.
• Monitor PPE use and availability and help implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance safety performance and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• OSHA #510: Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry (required).
• Less than 5 years of experience in a safety-related role.
• Experience in data center construction or similar environments preferred.
• Prior experience as a site safety professional strongly desired.
• Electrical safety experience a plus.
• Ability to conduct safety training as needed.
• Working knowledge of safety regulations, inspection processes, and documentation standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent observation and reporting abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving safety practices.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
