Join Whole Foods Market as an In-Store Shopper, where we're dedicated to providing outstanding grocery delivery services to our Prime Now customers. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding program where your passion for quality products and customer service will shine.

As an In-Store Shopper, you'll be integral to the Store Support team, preparing customer orders for delivery and/or pickup. You will shop throughout the store, collecting a variety of everyday goods, from food to household items. We value flexibility to accommodate our customers' needs, particularly on our busiest days - Saturdays and Sundays. Candidates who can work nights, weekends, and holidays are highly preferred.

Availability Requirements

• Receive your schedule up to 3 weeks in advance.
• Average shifts are 4-8 hours long.

Job Requirements

• Comfortable using handheld technology (mobile devices) for order fulfillment.
• Efficiently and accurately fulfill online orders with a sense of urgency.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on product and order accuracy.
• Eager to learn about product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations.
• Ability to maintain an organized staging area free of clutter.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and speak basic English.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and standing/walking for at least 6 hours, with the ability to push, pull, squat, bend, and reach as needed.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• In an 8-hour workday, stand/walk for 6-8 hours and sit for 1-4 hours.
• Perform tasks requiring single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Work involves bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
• Work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
• May require use of ladders.

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $17.50 to $25.40, based on experience.
