Job Description

The ServiceNow Application Developer will work closely with Product Owners to understand requirements and deliver high-quality, scalable, and reusable solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

This role involves enforcing best practices in software engineering, designing workflows, and contributing to process improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop conceptual, logical, and physical IT designs to support business and technical requirements on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Build clean, scalable, and reusable code while adhering to best practices (code reviews, unit testing, etc.).
  • Advise teams and customers on best practices and recommend solutions to meet business needs.
  • Perform gap analysis and propose alternatives for unaddressed requirements.
  • Lead strategic guidance initiatives and contribute to long-term technical solution discussions.
  • Collaborate with product owners to design, implement, test, and deliver high-quality applications.
  • Design user-friendly software that allows customers to extend and customize functionality.
  • Contribute to new product development and enhancement of existing features.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and maintain knowledge-sharing practices within the team.
  • Perform change management using ServiceNow platform following organizational policies.
  • Assist with compliance monitoring and adherence to audit and security guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Service Catalog development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Flow Designer and workflow automation.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes).
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform concepts (forms, tables, ACLs, Next Experience UI).
  • Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations.
  • CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification.
