Are you a seasoned Maintenance Technician with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for machinery? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and are you ready to take your career to the next level? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a highly skilled Permanent Sr Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift in the Manufacturing industry. This is a critical role responsible for maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of our complex machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Sr Maintenance Technician, you will:

1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment to ensure maximum life span and productivity.
2. Diagnose and repair malfunctions in complex mechanical and electrical systems, utilizing blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
3. Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts, and complete tasks.
4. Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
5. Inspect machinery for defects and potential problems, correcting issues before they cause downtime.
6. Repair and maintain physical structure of facility.
7. Work safely with start/stop circuits, relays, and other electrical components.
8. Respond to emergency calls quickly and make necessary machinery repairs.
9. Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests.
10. Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize efficiency and performance.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Sr Maintenance Technician position, you must have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience with electrical systems, hand tools, preventive maintenance, hydraulic systems, mechanical systems, troubleshooting, power tools, conveyor systems, equipment repair, welding, pneumatic systems, relays, and start/stop circuits.
3. Strong technical understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items for an extended period.
8. Willingness to work on the second shift and be on call for emergencies.
9. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or degree preferred.
