The Student Assistant provides administrative, clerical, and customer service support to the Lienhard School of Nursing. This position assists staff, faculty, and students by performing routine office tasks, supporting departmental projects, and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide general office support including answering phones, greeting visitors, and responding to inquiries.
• Assist with data entry, filing, copying, scanning, and distribution of documents.
• Support faculty and staff with preparation of course or program materials.
• Help maintain records, databases, and departmental systems.
• Schedule meetings, assist with event planning, and coordinate logistics as needed.
• Offer customer service to students, staff, and external partners in a professional manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with institutional policies.
• Assist with communications, including drafting emails, creating flyers, or updating online content.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Must be able to handle confidential information in a discreet manner
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable and patient with visitors
• Office experience a plus
• Ability to work independently
• Strong customer service and organizational skills
